The main building and the cottage is constructed with the local laterite stone, and the cottage has Mangalore tiles and cow dung
plastered flooring giving it an authentic rural village appearance.
Complimentary breakfast (Maharashtrian Breakfast) served is usually Poha or Upma or Khichidi. Lunch/Dinner can be ordered on prior notice. Only vegetarian meals are
served at the accommodation. Non vegetarian meals are strictly prohibited. Meals served are authentic Konkan cuisine. Confirmation of order we take well
in advance. There are a couple of small local restaurants near the home stay where guests can have non vegetarian meals.
A visit to the creek and mangroves guided by the fisherman and sometimes the host is an experience. Guest can also visit the Bharatiya Ship Yard where
they can see the making of a ship, go trekking or visit a farm. Play board games. Visit organic Farmland and part dense forest. Get an opportunity to
watch the organic farming process with the farmers. Swimming enthusiasts can have a dip in the ‘Baav’ river almost touching the property. Even more,
there are beaches, temples and forts in and around Ratnagiri and Ganpatiphule that guests can visit.
